Artist Bio Artist Work

Paola Boni is an Italian artist based in Colorno (Parma) whose practice is rooted in a lifelong passion for drawing and a deep fascination with color and detail. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Commerce, Boni transitioned from her family’s business to fully dedicate herself to art—a calling inspired in part by Lesley Harrison’s Painting Animals That Touch the Heart, which led her to the expressive potential of pastels.

Driven by a meticulous eye for realism, Boni eventually turned to oil painting as her primary medium. Her work is characterized by precision, emotional depth, and a constant exploration of new techniques, including both two- and three-dimensional approaches, to heighten the lifelike presence of her subjects.

Her paintings have been featured in prominent art publications such as Hyperrealism Magazine Art, CAM (Mondadori), Echi d’Arte (Cairo Editore), and Arteoggitalia (Pagine). She exhibits in both national and international contexts, with recent shows in cities including Parma, Bologna, Genoa, Madrid, Monte Carlo, and London.
