Internships

Clark Gallery offers internships to students and graduates who are interested in the business of contemporary art.

Interns assist with the day to day operations of a contemporary art gallery including: registering art into inventory; packing and unpacking art work, preparing consignment sheets, updating inventory files, maintaining records, organizing daily office operations, conducting research related to acquisition programs in corporate and institutional settings; and designing promotional tools.

Clark Gallery seeks undergraduate or graduate students with interests in art history, studio art, marketing, communications, management, and finance with aspirations of pursuing career goals related to the contemporary art arena.

Prospective applicants should be aware that Internships are an unpaid, volunteer position.

Prospective interns should be willing to commit to a full semester. Summer internships are also available. The gallery hours are 10 to 5:30, Tuesday through Saturday. Interns typically work one or two full days per week (or more), on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

Clark Gallery is easily accessible by car, and conveniently located adjacent to the commuter rail from Boston at the Lincoln Train Station.
